We now have started to put some profiles together, thanks to those players who have sent in their own profiles. Some artistic license may be applied to profiles of players who have not sent in their own by 1st May 2008!! Hopefully you will all buy into this, especially as we are ready to create profiles for individuals if they don't create their own!! If you can provide a picture as well, we will look to include it!

Describe yourself as a cricketer: Although I am primarily a wicketkeeper-batsman, I’m also a peerless bowler; never having failed when called upon. Taking the pads off to bowl either fast or off spin also has the advantage of placing me in the field where I’ve never dropped a catch. I almost forgot to mention that I’m a tactically astute and inspirational leader, regardless of whether I’m captain or not. I’d say I was a master of all trades and jack of none but my leg spin needs some work.

Watching – first two sessions of the Lords Ashes test in 2007 and the huge roar that the England team got walking through the long room at Lords after rolling the Aussies over for not many.

Best moment in cricket: Winning the league, back in the good old days when we were in the top division, under the guidance of the Great Lord Clayden. Then winning Division 1 as skipper in 1999. It all went downhill quite quickly from there. Nowadays, every time I get off the mark.

Best moment in cricket: Gaining Promotion to the Premier League in 2008, Hitting a match winning 96* Vs South Woodford 1st X1 (inc hitting Carl Greenidge out the ground), Winning the Mobil Matchplay 2004.
Funniest moment in cricket: Keeping wicket for Sunday 1s when Steve Pleasant played for the opposition, after discussing with Steve how we could annoy Bailey bowling his 'legendary' off spin we decided he would run past one and i would not stump him and throw the ball to slip. Worked perfectly and the look on Nicks face was priceless! He then later told me how he did Steve with the 'flight', 'drift' & 'turn'. Safe to say none of these occurred. Also when the Sunday 1s started to field with 12 vs Westcliff in the League, Gary announced that someone needed to not play.... Off goes Chris 'Cheeseface' Drain who proceeds to play for the 2nd X1... only to get out 1st ball of the game and receive a big send off from the Sunday 1s by waving and shouting general abuse! Quality.

Best moment in cricket: Taking 3 Catches, 2 stumpings and scoring a 50 in a match against Harrow Town circa 2000 ish (The day's of having the grace of a performing seal behind the stumps sadly now replaced by an old Orca with the turning circle of the QEII). (Worst moment in cricket, getting out to Pete Drain's bowling in a 10 over slog this season! Oh the shame!)
