Welcome to Chelmsford Cricket Club
Chelmsford are, historically, one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the Essex League. We currently field 5 Saturday sides (1st through 4th XI's in Essex League) and 2 Sunday sides during the season. This allows us to cater for cricketers of all abilities.
The 2007 season was an especially successful one, with the Saturday 2nd XI, 3rd XI and 4th XI winning their respective Premier Division titles. Our Under-13 side made it to the final of the Peter Coe cup, which was held at the County Ground in Chelmsford. Here they lost out to a strong Wanstead side. Off the pitch, Chelmer park saw the installation of two outdoor nets in the summer of 2007, of which substantial use has already been made.
Chelmer Park has three pitches with a spacious, well maintained clubhouse and bar, which makes for a family oriented cricket club with friendly atmosphere. To find us, view the Facilities page on the menu to your left, which contains directions and a map link.
Chelmsford is also the centre of excellence for colts cricket with six qualified coaches running extensive coaching sessions during the winter and summer. We also hold an "ECB Clubmark", number 00108. You can see the full certificate via the ECB Clubmark badge on the left hand menu.
